Shipping policy
All products sold by Douzelle are made to order. By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree to the shipping, delivery, and dispute terms outlined below.
Made-to-Order Production
- All Douzelle items are made to order and are produced only after an order has been placed and payment is confirmed.
- Production time: typically 7–14 business days before dispatch.
- Production timelines are estimates only and may vary due to order volume, supplier delays, holidays, or operational factors.
- Once an order enters production, it cannot be cancelled, modified, or expedited.
Shipping & Dispatch
- Orders are shipped once production is complete.
- Customers will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information once the order has been dispatched.
- Shipping timeframes begin after dispatch, not from the order date.
Estimated Delivery Times
- UK: approximately 2–5 business days after dispatch
- International: approximately 5–15 business days after dispatch
All delivery timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
Shipping Delays
Douzelle is not responsible for shipping delays caused by:
- Courier or postal service disruptions
- Customs inspections or clearance delays
- Weather conditions
- Peak seasons, public holidays, or strikes
- Events outside of our reasonable control
Shipping or delivery delays do not qualify for refunds, cancellations, replacements, or chargebacks.
Customs, Duties & Taxes
- International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, or fees imposed by the destination country.
- These charges are the responsibility of the customer.
- Delays or non-delivery caused by customs processes do not constitute a breach of contract.
Incorrect Address & Delivery Issues
- Customers are responsible for ensuring that the shipping address provided at checkout is accurate and complete.

- Failed delivery attempts

Parcels marked as delivered by the carrier
- Reshipping due to address errors may incur additional fees.
Lost, Missing, or Marked-Delivered Parcels
- Once an order has been dispatched, responsibility transfers to the shipping carrier.
- If tracking confirms delivery, Douzelle is not liable for loss, theft, or misplacement after delivery.
- For parcels lost in transit, customers must contact us so a carrier investigation may be initiated where applicable.
Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
- Customers agree to contact enquiries@douzelle.com before initiating any chargeback or payment dispute.

- Shipping delays within stated timeframes
- Courier or customs delays

Parcels marked as delivered by the carrier
are considered invalid, as these terms are clearly disclosed prior to purchase.
- Unauthorized or premature chargebacks may be disputed by Douzelle with supporting documentation, including this policy and order records.
